You did fine... I bought a 10K mile 99 original owner every option including Mag wheels sticker around $48.5k I paid right at $19k
You could have got one for a whole lot less but keep watching this forum.. it could / would have many issues.
IMO, keep it original as there are not that many unmodified ones out there and the ones that are left alone are always easier to sell.
Thanks, hopefully no problems for awhile. Mechanic inspection before purchased showed no issues. Didn't realize until after purchase reading all of the issues people have on the forum.

If it has no mechanical issues I think you did great, can't be too many with that low of miles out there! That's like still new! look at a what a new economy car cost and its value will tank the minute you pull off the lot. These cars have not dropped much value in the last several years.
Have fun
Love that color!

For as low mile as that it, you did pretty well. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it and just enjoy your new ride. It's fully loaded and you don't see too many in that color either.
If the tires are original you might want to think about buying new tires if you are planning a road trip. At least check them over very good. New rubber will get you a better ride too, when you get rid of the runflats.

Nice looking car, great color and IMO you got a decent deal for the low mileage car. Some here believe the C5s should be dirt cheap, but it's not what I have found from prices around here, especially ones in very good condition with the low miles. As long as you are happy with the car and the price you paid, that's all that matters.
As far as any future mods go - do whatever makes you happy. After all, having a car set up just like you want is an important part of car ownership.
It only seems that way bc this is where people come to look for solutions to problems.
I BIGTIME agree with this. I love reading this forum but I have to admit that reading all of the posts makes me borderline paranoid that something is gonna go bad.
I'd really bet there are many more people out there without problems than those that have them so I just tell myself to chill out sometimes.
And yeah - I figure I overpaid for my 2003 white coupe by 1-1.5k. Whatever. I got what I wanted for a very long time at the very right time...so I drive it like crazy, enjoy the crap out of it, and I don't dwell on it.
...now all I gotta do is wait until spring to get it out of storage...

.......or there could be a lot more people out there with problems that don't go on internet forums. Just like any car when a problem arises, deal with it and drive on.
You found a nice car, you liked it and bought it. Don't look back. Get in and drive it, polish it, admire it. When or if something happens then take care of it. Until then, enjoy. Good luck with the Vette. They are great cars.

Quick question, new member, not sure where to ask. Bought 2000 Bowling Green Coupe 15,300 miles for 19,500. One owner, garage kept, was listed 21,500. Just want to know if I overpaid, seeing cheaper cars for sale online, and don't this bad feeling. I didn't have a big budget, so 20k was about limit.
Thanks everyone, feeling much better about the purchase. Look forward to reading more about the C5 parts and keeping her for awhile. Cheers
