I have not detected any complaints from any other drivers. This goes for the high beams and the low beams.
The instructions included with the lights are very clear and easy to follow on aiming the lights. I went to a parking garage and got it done in about 20 minutes. And I am really picky and meticulous. The one thing that can be a problem is getting the "golden-rod" adjusters loose. Sometimes they are stuck really tight after years of no activity. Several posts on CF about how people have solved that, plus it is covered in the install guide.

We drove back from Vermont for 500 miles at night. Not one complaint from other drivers.

I performed my install over two days with the sole purpose of soaking the golden rod adjusters in PB Blaster over night.

After install and before re-installing the plastic shrouds, I performed the aiming adjustment per the instructions. After taking the car for a drive, I was flashed a couple times because I had the lights aimed about an inch too high as I incorrectly adjusted up for my lowered car. Most mis-aiming are too high which then cause the HID projected beam to shine up into the vision of on-coming traffic. After re-adjusting down, I've had no issues.

The funny thing is that when the lights were incorrectly aimed too high, I felt like I could see for miles, so now I understand why some drivers of other vehicles with HID conversion kits don't make the correct adjustments. IMO, it's a very selfish thing to do and can cause safety issues, especially on two-lane remote roads.

When aimed correctly, the Bi-Xenon HID cut-off steps are very prominent due to the Corvette being such a low profile car.

Interestingly enough, the corvette being so low-profile has an advantage. The Corvettes lights are at the lowest legal limit (24") according to DOT regulations. This puts the headlight lower than the side view mirrors of any vehicle meaning you can aim your headlight's high side at 0 degrees elevation and project light to infinity on a flat road.

The downside is the reflected light coming back to the driver's eye is closer to 180 degrees making it appear dimmer than if you were sitting higher as in a pickup truck.

Exactly the same thing I noticed sitting behind the wheel vs. getting out and standing behind the vehicle.

George, I've been away for awhile and hope to rectify the no-corvette status soon. Do you provide aiming instructions in your kit?

Little update, I went ahead and did the ACAs instead of going the 9011/9012 route since I didn't want to do it twice. That, and I didn't want to be in the desert of Arizona or New Mexico and begin to question my decision. Hopefully I have the same luck as everyone else with the install when they get here in a week or so.

Thanks George for all the help and working with me on everything. I greatly appreciate it.
