Have HID's in both my fogs and lowbeams however only one dog light seems to be working as well as both lowbeams work without and issue. On startup of fog lamps one side chirps while the working side does in fact illuminate while the side that chirps does not. Any insight on what this could be? Replaced the fuse today also. Attached is a video of he issue
My first inclination is that the ballast has gone bad. You might try swapping the hid bulbs between the two fog lights and see if you get the same result as you're getting now. If the same side "chirps" after the bulb swap, I'd say you just need to replace the ballast on the "chirping" side.
The funny thing is.. this is the NEW ballast lol. I ordered a new one after I heard the chirp thinking it was the ballast and even then the new ballast continues to show this error.
Id have to try the other bulb then if it isn't the ballast ,now the pain is trying to get my arms to fit through the opening
I feel, have felt, and will feel your pain! Sometimes the bulb musical chairs scenario makes things seem worse, when i had that happen i complained to the seller and he sent me 2 new bulbs. Didnt help! Turns out the ballast was bad. However i dont understand "chirping" foglights. I put HIDs in mine and had no trouble from them. With the headlights you're dealing with 2 motors expecting a measured amount of current.

I too did not have any issues with them at all but i was thinking it had to do with the initial voltage it gets so im not sure.
Well, since you know the driver side ballast and bulb both work just fine, swapping bulbs is the best way you have to figure out if it's the passenger side ballast or bulb that's no good and needs replacing. Obviously the passenger side fog light is getting power, it's just not firing up and staying lit.
update:switching the ballast from the drivers side over to the non working side, will post update
