Sounds like a nice idea, might consider getting some of those parking cards real soon. As for the tire valve stem, I'll hold off on that for someone else.

My best friend did that to me the day I got married. Lol. He had a rental car so I wouldn't know it was him and stood there taking pictures while I struggled to climb through from the passengers side. He was cracking up. I walked over, hugged him, and told him if it were anyone else I'd have killed them. He laughed and said that's why he did it. Good joke!
I keep a stack of these printed out on permanent adhesive paper in the car just for these situations. I stick one to the drivers windshield right in their view. No permanent damage, just an inconvenience.
I can't believe some of you guys are are going to make me sound like a prude for saying this, especially after all the posts I see condemning a little spirited light to light testing of acceleration, but Its surprising how many people here would consider touching someone's car let alone actually letting the air out of tires or worse puncturing tires and no one is saying anything about how dangerous that could be? All because someone parked too close!, I agree these pics are upsetting but op said he could get in and there was no damage to his car (no harm no faul). The notes are clever and may help but I doubt it, but I can assure you the flattening of tires won't help and could prove deadly if they get in and drive at highway speeds, these kinds of people are oblivious to all kinds of things, including a flat or low tire especially if it is a newer low profile tire. Ok I'm done, it just seemed a little too casual conversation to talk about vandalizing someone's property over this to me.

When I was 20 I had a beautiful 68 442 with custom paint, yelled at a guy at work about how close he parked (I was back lot) and 2 days later it was keyed from front to back on both sides, I never said or did anything again ??????

You learned how to avoid a crazy, no one can watch their stuff 100% of the time!.... When I was around 13 I hung around some, not so good kids, one time we were at a bowling ally and a guy said something to us, I don't even remember what it was? Next thing I know I hear the air coming out of the guys tires, all of them! I asked my older 15 Year old " friend" how did you get the valves to stay in? and he showed me a knife! At 13 I knew how expensive tires were and could not believe he would do that. I soon distanced myself from him. I never got into any real trouble because I was not that kind of kid, so I was lucky I learned from someone else's misfortune what a seemingly innocent comment can do. You can be in the right, but somethings are just not worth it.

Sorry to hear that. It's not worth messing with some of these people. If they didn't care about parking close and bumping into your car, they'll certainly have no remorse trying to destroy it.

sometimes you learn the hard way, especially when your young !!!!!
That's one of the reasons I park as far from the entrance to where I'm heading - if possible... Sometime times there is no choice. I liked the non-damaging sticker idea someone posted

:agree: Whatever happened to turn the other cheek?
I park far from other cars, but park like a normal person. This picture is me at the back end of a grocery store parking lot. I was there for 2 minutes when this Ferrari owner parks right next to me---hogging multiple spots and facing the wrong way. What a toolbag.
