HUD Displaying "--"
I have a 1999 Coupe. The HUD unit now only displaying two minus signs (--) on the windshield. Bought a replacement projector but get the same results. Sounds like a bad board / components in the instrument cluster. Has anybody seen this before? Thanks.

Have not seen that before. Perhaps get in touch with forum member Steve Doten, a forum member. He has dealt with HUDs and perhaps he can give you some advice or point you in the right direction.

Hello,
I had this problem yesterday also this was just a bad connection
When i wiggle the connector on the dashcluster and turn contact of and on again it was oke
So i tried to wiggle the connector again en there it was again
I solved the bad connection and is oke now

I'm having the same problem...so just to clarify, "the connector on the dash cluster" is that the (hud) cable going on to the top of the cluster or? Also did you take your dash off in order to do this? Just want to be sure before I start tearing it apart and wiggling cables...
