After changing my oil for the first time today, I turned the car on for about 5 minutes to let the new oil cycle. When I walked to the back, I noticed this leak. Not sure if it's normal exhaust or condensation or whatever or if it's something serious. I didn't have the AC on in the car. I dabbed a paper towel over it and it's clear. Perhaps just condensation? Like I said, I only had the car running for 5 minutes.

Unrelated question (hate to start another thread about something easy). After I changed my oil, I tried to reset so that the DIC reads 100% oil life remaining. I went to the DIC, Trip button, found "Oil Life Remaining 42%" then held RESET button for two seconds. It beeped and displayed "_ _ _% oil life remaining" and it just stays there. It won't say "100%". What did I do wrong?

I believe you have to turn the key to run but not on then hold the reset for like 10-12 seconds then it should display 100%. unless 2000 corvette is different to a 2003 which I doubt.

When your engine is running, the exhaust gasses pass through the cats and water vapor is one of the byproducts. What you are seeing is normal (water) that comes out of the weep hole in the muffler.

Turn the key to the ON position (engine off) and press the accelerator to the floor 3 times - should reset to 100%
