SO just had a 40 year experienced detailer clay bar and buff my 2003 black z06 and turned out great. I am curious if I should use TURTLE WAX® JET BLACK™ BLACK BOX® FINISH KIT or does anyone else recommend a certain wax. My friend used the turtle wax black box kit on his 2014 rousch and said huge difference but he did not have it buffed previously. Would it hurt to use the jet black kit or is it simply overkill?
Your car is clear coated... anything used to insure clarity is done to the clear coat, not the base coat.. anything that is 100% optically clear will be the most effective. there isn't anything that is 100 % optically clear.

I think there is a dye in that wax. I personally would not use it.
The detailer didn't coat it with a protectant? I would recommend a paint sealant. Adam's and Menzerna are my choice, but any quality sealant will give you nice results.
Will Chadwick's take off all the stuff like a clay bar will?
this was my experience, I clay barred my car 3 weeks before a friend told me about Chadwicks. I was skeptical, but he was a good friend and I trusted his opinion. I could not believe the difference it was very noticeable. The block you use with Chadwick's is the replacement of the clay bar, and you go back and forth until there is no resistance just like a clay bar ??? I was sold !!!!!! (I have Silver)
