Dash Camera. Within the first week of ownership, had two close calls with others not seeing the Vette. Luckily, the great steering and brakes saved the car from an accident.
Assuming that replacing squeaky sway bar end links doesn't count - the flip-tie mod on the air filter followed shortly by powder-coated calipers + new rotors....

Ha, I forgot along with one of my first mods, when I installed the Cat Back I replaced the end links !!!!!!!! (another tip learned here before I did anything)
The first mod on my C5, was new seats. I could not gas it at all without the seat recline mechanism releasing at the seat back and reclining further. Three attempts at removing seats and fixing problem, along with posts here, failed to resolve the problem. Mine also had the front to back slide, as well as some side to side in the power seat mechanism.
I replaced the stock seats with Corbeau Evolution X's. It's nice to have seats you can count on not moving. especially when cornering or accelerating briskly.
Dumped the run flats and replaced with Kooks. Not really a mod but I couldn't take it anymore.
Which Hankooks you running? How do you like them over the runflats? I'm in the same boat. Runflats are so noisy that it's tough to hold a conversation.
Replacing the OEM exhaust with a Corsa X-Pipe and Sport exhaust system !! It's the only exhaust system that I recommend, as I've had four, on four different cars over the past few years and they always make me smile !!
