Drove 800 miles home from picking up the car and I'm washing it the next day and see both front tires were shot on the inside edge. So needing new tires led me to a killer deal on a mint set of 04 Z06 wheels which became my first mod.

The run flats were awful, I replaced them with the Ventus V12. Night and day! You'll like them, nicer ride and much, much quieter.

For me, it's always wheels with any car. I ordered mine the week I got the car and had them installed in < 2 wks. And as mentioned previously, it all snowballs from there.....

I couldn't stand the stock 6spd shifter. Too vague feeling and 5th gear was "best guess"...

I added a B&M Ripper shifter and would never think about going back.

After fixing a bad left headlight motor, driver's side rear view mirror, right front speaker, I got some Lloyds Mats, Stainless Steel letters for the back, silver letters for passenger side airbag, badges for steering wheel and door jam, battery cover and fluid cap chrome rings and finally disc and brake upgrade.

Want: Intake/exhaust upgrade, wheel and tire upgrade, DD sound package and I will be happy.

My wheels were purchased and delivered two weeks before my car was delivered!

They were mounted and the car was lowered and aligned within the first week.

I took delivery of my '01 C-5 in July of 2001. Drove it "as delivered" until November of that year, when it went into the garage for the winter. During that time, I lowered it, and installed the "heim end" sway bar links, installed a Hurst shifter, and swapped out the OE spark plugs, as the "missing pucks" were a hot topic here at CF, back then.

It stayed that way for another year, then a set of CCWs went on it.

Column lock bypass, Oil pressure sensor relocation, C6 shifter and new shifter boot. Next was the metal end links. Installed the MP3 harness to the stock radio 12 disc CD player.

Already had C6 style wheels and BB cat back's when I bought it.

Year 2 Corsa Xtream with H pipe, new cold air intake
Year 3 New seat foam and leather

I bought the car 500 miles away, with only 250 miles on the odo, and a year old. Can't remember if the shifter was the first mod, or the removal of the stock airbox. Shifter was a bad idea... got a Breathless, and 2 shifters later, got a MGW. GOOD STUFF. By that time, I was through the looking glass.

I believe the first mod I did on my first C5 was a shift ****. The C5 I have now already had the mods I wanted, performance air cleaner and borla stinger exhaust.
