Default ABS Module - GM now has replacement?

I have the solenoid error on the abs module. Abs light tract control and AH warnings etc. After researching here some said gm does not offer a replacement and you have to pay 500+ dollars to ship it out and get it repaired at absfixer and some say they come back still broken! However checking a gm site it appears they have the part. Is this correct and wouldn't paying less than 200$ more for a warrantied new part be a better idea since these do tend to fail often. Part is here

I bought a brand new Delco EBCM for my 2001 on Amazon for 500 bucks. They are more now. There are no new replacements for '97-2000 and they can not be fixed.
If that's the right part number;

with all the above. The only way to get one for a '97-00 car is to find a used one that works. Owners of newer cars can still buy the part new or get it repaired.

I've been here since '11 and I've never seen anything negative about ABSfixer.
I'm one of the DIY people, dunno if I'm in that thread mentioned above.

Well I have been a member since 1999, and it was only the last year I bought my 03 that I had any trouble, and the ABS light was on, I took it out and sen't to ABSfixer and he , Brandon got it and sent it back to me stateing it was damaged too bad and I need to source a better one. Never took a penny from and I think in my case he is a 'stand up' individule/vendor. I did just that, however I found one from Automotive Scientific inTenn, and that cost $1774.90 shipped, and it had a "Do not break seal" on stating no warrenty if broken and once here, the ABS light still stayed on Diag Rob our technical go to guy and I asked for help and he gave me a number of things to try, Nothing worked. but seeing I was in PA, he asked if I knew where Stroudsburg PA was I said why its about 120 miles from my home. And I called and made an appointment well walt is a technician with serious dianostic skills, he called on evening with a question about the cars history and then 2 days later he called and told me the car was done, but I need to get another EBCM. I did just that but this time I bought one from Mercer Corvette IA. Real stand up operation, but it stilled took 4 weeks, but Walt had suggested if I wasnted a writeen dianostic in letter form, I did and drafted on about this cars operation and that they had supplied to me a BROKEN EBCM. With the letter still took a few weeks but they did refund the $1774.90, but by sending me a faulty unit I had to source out a new one and that cost me a little over $2100.00 not including my time and the cost of a rental car. But all of that is nothing compared to a running and now having the F%% A/H and ABS lights out and it running fine now, but why would a company who do ABS and other modules send me a brokem EBCM, and FWIW Mercer Corvette the tech said to me that they were working on some of the 97- 2000 EBCM, but it depending on the damage. But if anyone here has a trouble in the cars electrical isses and your close or even far away, the is the technican for you. I don't think there is a better Electrical Technican with whom his skill outweights any cost to get your corvette to his shop, very 5 star expierence for me. And I wanted to still use the A/H and the Traction control with the F55 suspension !

I cannot believe I am considering spending big money on a used electronic part. I learned to drive on snow covered dirt roads, traction control and ABS were learned or the ditch would claim a victim. Not worried about that, it's those damn dash lights I really don't like, especially at night. The teenager in me says "just pull the cluster and remove the bulbs"... which honestly has crossed my mind a few times.

Is there a way to tune that s#!t out like you would check engine lights etc.? I don't have any problems YET but it's always good to be prepared.
