Default Rear decklid C5 emblem replacements

Are oem rear decklid C5 emblems still available through the dealers? Anyone purchase a oem replacement through one of the forum vendors? Just noticed this weekend that the lower thin parts of the crossed flags below the oval have fallen off, all that remains is the black stick on tape.

Bought new OEMs (front and rear) a couple months ago off ebay. Not sure if they are still available thru the dealers or not.

I bought a 50th for my Anniversary - I think it was about $85 from an eBay vendor

I've bought a set from the stealership about a month ago. The rear was about 75$

REAR:

FRONT:

They are pricey but very high quality.

You can get aluminum ones for the same price as the stock plastic.

The C5 emblems are available from a dealer as far as I know. Contact one of the forum vendors for pricing.

Sent you a PM on this. IIRC, the front emblem is straight and you need to bend it slightly to match the curve on the front fasica. The rear works perfectly. Not sure if they come with the double sided tape though.

I got a front emblem through Amazon a few weeks ago, it was in GM packaging and it did have the double sided tape

Edit : I also cut the oval off the old one before installing the new just to see what it looked like. I thought it looked pretty good but I couldn't bring myself to cutting up the new one

I think someone else pm'd you her email addy? Yes?

The emblems are flat but it's not that big a deal for the nose. I just doubled up on the tape on the "wings" to accommodate the contours.

Vetteman Jack, Do you know if they still make these? Could you PM the info if they do?

Thanks in advance.

I searched their site, no go unless they named them something other than emblem. I really would like something other than plastic for the front. The rear is going to get removed sooner than later, the plastic is starting to degrade.

thanks
