Those Igus brand bushings for the new 5/16" screws - "2mtg6" didn't come back with anything. Is there greater description of the part, or perhaps a direct link online?
I got them from W Grainger they sell Igus bushings. Igus phone is 800-522-2747. Pak of five for $3.69. Call for dealer near you. Let me know if you don't have any luck. Good luck!!
As bad as C5 lights are, and as much as I like the idea, I would not do a "Sun Gun" type install unless there was an acrylic/plexiglass/whatever clear cover in front of the projectors. Even with the shroud you show in place, stuff will get in there, and those of us who get winters would find salt and grit encrusted in the works in no time. Not to mention ending up with shot blasted projector units.
At least with a cover, if it does get scratched or weathered (and they do), it can be polished clear again.
You Sir get a gold star. Had not even thought of that!
I am replacing the gears in my pop-ups and would love to round up the parts to do this in one swoop. Of course Grainger's site is currently down so I can't see if the local store has the parts in stock.
I have the same slop you have, and one of my pop ups have failed. My inspection was due the end of the month (3 days after the light failed) and I'm eager to get the car back on the road, and I'd prefer to not to have to redo the work. Any input is HUGELY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You'll have to get the bushings from grainger. That's just who I used for part numbers and of course the remainder can be gotten from Ace hardware or the like. Hope that helps!
I'm looking to duplicate this effort as I begin the install on my RF low-rise kit.
However, I have visited the local Napa, True Value, Ace, HD, and Lowes and cannot for the life of me locate properly sized shoulder bolts or nylon flange bearings / insert fittings. Even Grainger and Fastenal have issues.
I think I will look at the 2 rear holes and see if they can stand a 3/8" diameter. I can get those shoulder bolts and fittings.
I did find the pilot bushings and pins/screws for the other parts. Though a new bolt on the top of the actuator arm seems pointless since it is the same diameter. I'll just drill the ones I have. Still not sure it will help a ton since they don't jiggle much at all already. The press fit pin on the arm itself partway up is the loosest piece in that system.
Nicely done! Vid is great. Would like to see a hardware list to do this to my SunGuns (you referred to them as Lazy Eyes ). I have a set of SunGuns from Michael and they are an awesome design.
Thanks for posting this.
I do have the shrouds but have not mounted them yet.
No, the lights you posted are called SunGuns. They used Hella projectors.
I bought and installed these several years back. Nice lights with HIDs.
Look back in the previous posts. The seller was: (775) 315-0814 Mike Basset (great guy). No idea if Mike is still selling these.

The lights look nice.
The shroud is the finishing touch, but did you ever think of having them torch red like the body?
If you are handy with photoshop, try it and see what it looks like.
Would like to see how they look red.
