Vettenuts double din center console
So I purchased one of the first batch consoles and have finally got it installed. I gotta say I'm highly disappointed in the finish on this product. It looks like the console was sprayed with bed liner for texture and doesn't even remotely match the interior of the car. Just wanted to ask if anyone else who has purchased this has the same issue. As of right now I'm not a happy camper at all.
Anyone else care to chime in that owns this? I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

I was happy with the 300.00 no core price and color was good but mine came with a dry sprayed finish like 100 grit sandpaper.
I sanded it with 240 and re sprayed it with SEM Satin Black 15243
and now it's a smooth almost perfect match.
Vettnuts gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble.

All it needs is a re spray with SEM Satin Black 15243.
It's an almost perfect match.
My interior could use a cleaning and Armor All.
The Corvette is just off black.
The SEM Dark Graphite is too grey.
I suggested it to Vettenuts so they may be using it now
on new ones.

I wasn't unhappy about re spraying it as I had painted my previous bezel
before with the SEM Satin Black when I modded it to fit a cell phone.

Mine has the same rough finish which I figured would smooth out with use, I haven't installed it yet so I can't comment on the color.
I was just happy to not have that peeling rubbery finish that's on the stock one.

OP, i feel the same about my bezel from dd mods. The finish is ****. Im just hoping finish doesn't reflect the build quality! and Stranglelove....no offence but those pics you posted.. the match is crap. I dont understand how some owners arent picky with this kinda stuff...

Pics are up in the original post. The 1.5 din console I returned due to a bad batch had the rubbery texture start peeling off. However it was a perfect match to the interior. It pisses me off that I have to figure out a way to sand and paint something I paid 300 fckin dollars for when it should match. First run or not it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that there was no effort put into the texturing of this product. I will admit the fit is great, except for the lower cross piece under the double din. It needs to be moved down a millimeter or two.

Honestly I might get some Nassau blue paint mixed up in an aerosol and paint it a different color completely. The posts up above with the spray paint or whatever doesn't look like a match whatsoever to me. The reason for upgrading something is to make it better, not be a compromise.

The flash from the camera makes it look blacker.
I'll put it outside today in the sun and take another pic.
If I let the propellant out of the SEM Satin Black and the SEM Dark Graphite spraybombs and mixed them 50/50 then used a spraygun
it would be perfect.
Basically you have to custom mix the color.
I may still do that.
I also have a lot of CF Trim that covers a good part of the
console.
This was it with the phone as head unit and the match is perfect where I blended it in.

I think what DD and Vettenuts are after is a textured factory look and feel. I also had my bezel done from DD and it is very rough, but does match my other interior pieces. I wasn't too concerned because I want to redo all my interior pieces. Smooth for sure, color or design can't make up my mind yet ???
