All C5s came with an H-pipe from the factory. If you want a little improvement for the exhaust flow, consider getting an aftermarket X-pipe.

The stock H-pipe is fairly useless. Despite the fact that it looks the same diameter as the exhaust pipes, the openings inside the pipe where it attaches are quite small. They actually flow little between the two exhausts. They would do much more if they were cut open and reattached. That would also increase the rumble.
