Congrats!

When I fired mine up a little over a year ago after rebuilding it fired up fine but I had a gusher of an oil leak. Turned out I needed one more plug on the engine than I had installed.

Maybe he'd be better off huffing a can? Can't get much worse.

Edited to add..... Black 02... I don't know how you got fixated on me or maybe love lorn, but you need to revisit whatever personal issues you have with me. Jealousy is a terrible thing.

awesome that you got it back together!... you always have to expect some kinks when doing big jobs like that but overall it seems to have gone pretty smooth and I know you are ready to finally drive it again

When they run right the first time it is a huge relief.
I remember wondering if I used the right O ring in the oil pump, was my timing chain on right, did I damage a ring installing it, etc... . Worrying over nothing.

Glad to hear it all came together. Now break in time!

That o-ring thing bothered me too. I had a hard time seeing that little arrow on the timing chain showing which direction it was supposed to be installed.

Just Kidding....LOL!

I was also paranoid about the blow by popping out the rear seal.
It didn't smoke much when I first started it.
I have 400 miles in it now.

Fortunately I have no blowby in the engine, it's tight and very smooth running.
