When I fired mine up a little over a year ago after rebuilding it fired up fine but I had a gusher of an oil leak. Turned out I needed one more plug on the engine than I had installed.
Some people are incapable of reforming. They simply can't change who they are. As evidence of that, witness his snide remark about spray painting his interior.
Maybe he'd be better off huffing a can? Can't get much worse.

awesome that you got it back together!... you always have to expect some kinks when doing big jobs like that but overall it seems to have gone pretty smooth and I know you are ready to finally drive it again

lol black02 will hold a grudge forever , but i think behind his german cars and his die hard liberal beliefs hes actually an okay guy
When they run right the first time it is a huge relief.
I remember wondering if I used the right O ring in the oil pump, was my timing chain on right, did I damage a ring installing it, etc... . Worrying over nothing.

That o-ring thing bothered me too. I had a hard time seeing that little arrow on the timing chain showing which direction it was supposed to be installed.
