That's insane. I remember looking at the Ariel Atom when they first came out (I worked right down the street) but they were all boosted 4 bangers. This is the real deal and the windscreen would be a nice addition.

Thanks! I wanted an Atom real bad but very pricey. These can be had turnkey for about half the cost of an Atom depending on options, and to have the LS with 400 HP is just way cooler! As you stated the safety of a real windshield, and even a wiper makes it a little more comfortable to drive. I was fortunate to be able to do quite a bit of the work myself to keep the cost down, plus that's the fun part for me.
I'm hoping I can fire it up in the next couple weeks, trying to finish it up in the next 4-5 weeks.
I would love to build/have one of those one day. Where do you find them for sale?
And, as I understand it, those Porsche transaxles are like GOLD. If you can find a spare, buy 3 of them. Not because they are weak, but they are scarce.

A little more progress on the Exo, mounted the fuel cell, made a bracket for the fuel cell vent, and installed the filler. All fuel lines except AN fittings at tank and fuel rail are complete.
Clutch is filled, and bled, finished up brake lines and started bleeding them, but I've got a couple fittings leaking that need addressed, before finishing up brakes.
Lights are wired up front and rear, only electrical connections left are for the fans and electric water pump.
I'll post up updated pics once fuel lines are complete.
Got the brackets made for the spark plug wire looms. Stripped the red anondize, and brushed the finish. Very pleased with the finished product, now to do the other side, and make up the plug wires.
Plug wires cut and laced up, fitting came in for -8 AN fuel line connection, still waiting on a few AN barb fittings to finish up fuel cell.
These license lights are pretty cool each bolt has a led, only bad thing is that ill have to wait til my plate gets here before I make final connections.
The '66 got quite a bit of love this past summer... new patina paint job in original laguna blue, with big block hood, side pipes and Fred tuned port power plant.
Took about 30 days for the paint and about 30 days for the engine swap.
Had to order special plug wire ends to connect up to the LS1 coils, finished them up tonight, finally I ordered the correct AN fittings to finish up the fuel system, front and rear. Also installed the horns tonight, that's going to be it til next week, heading out Thursday to Scottsdale.
I hope to wrap up cooling plumbing next week and hopefully try to fire it up!
Here are a few more pics, not a ton of progress, but very pleased with the plug wires.
