Had to order special plug wire ends to connect up to the LS1 coils, finished them up tonight, finally I ordered the correct AN fittings to finish up the fuel system, front and rear. Also installed the horns tonight, that's going to be it til next week, heading out Thursday to Scottsdale.
I hope to wrap up cooling plumbing next week and hopefully try to fire it up!
Here are a few more pics, not a ton of progress, but very pleased with the plug wires.
There's a significant part of me that really wants to hate you!
Is that a garage condo, or a part of another building? Great looking setup!

I love my setup, just want more space, a little over a year ago, I made the commitment to move my hobby out of my garage at home and rented a commercial space about 10 minutes from home, and it expolded. That's what you see in the pics, polished the floor, drywall, paint, restroom, loft & HVAC. I quickly ran out of room and now have the adjacent 2 bays it's just ugly warehouse, but it serves it's purpose.

Beer, tunes & wrenches!
"Wenches" you mean? Your place looks sweet.
I've been lightly looking into relocating to SW Florida. If I score a place on a canal, there is no way I'm going to have a toy box onsite, and such could never be comparable to my 30x60 that I have here in Virginia. I'd love to build one of those "shop homes" which is all shop on floor 1 and living quarters on floor 2; but that's far fetched too in coastal Florida.
What are you using to control the engine, a custom PCM or something else?
It's a custom harness from PSI Conversions, Jay @ Velocity then modifies their harness to integrate to his vehicle harness. It's a real nice setup, it was pretty plug & play. I'll know more once we get it running and tuned to see how it performs.
Got the axles installed! Getting close to a test drive around the block, still quite a few loose ends but it's much closer, another few weeks should wrap it up.
Very cool, but I have to say the LS1, looks way better between the rear tires! I've made a few more parking lot test drives and this thing is going to be a beast!
Hoping to get the exhaust welded up next week so I can start buttoning up all of the loose ends.
New member here. Saw this thread on the Velocity you are finishing and i really like the modifications you are making to yours. Got 2300 miles on mine now and I have to say it brings a big fat smile every time I get behind the wheel. Gotta be the most fun I have ever had cruisin around. LS2 power, The ride is very smooth and solid. Damn thing scares the hell outta you sometimes!

That is cool, never had a chance to ride or drive or even see a finished car in person before I bought mine. My short "spin" in the parking lot was just a tease, can't wait to finish it up.

Any quirks or issues I should know about?
No quirks or issues really. Other than everyone and his brother will be wanting to know what the hell it is or if it's street legal!..damn thing attracts a lot of attention that's for sure. Originally had an overheating problem but that got squared away. Plumbing wasn't quite right but we worked thru it. One thing that I need to work out is the heat from the "engine compartment" (what there is of it)...LOL... on a hot day it can warm the back of your neck up pretty good. Otherwise..it's everything you'd expect it to be and then some.
