It's not very business like to not discount the $20. I have seen this phrasing too many times on instructions coming from China. Probably different offices which do not communicate with each others. Shipping from China and accounting wherever they get the best tax breaks.
Looking at the waybill, mine came out of Singapore. I have a little shop in the basement where I noodle with guitar pedals, and I've ordered lots of electronic components from China and Singapore over the past years. To date, the stuff from Singapore always tends to edge out the Chinese stuff in terms of quality and service. That's why I was a bit taken aback when they would not refund me the discount. Anyways, who cares now, lesson saved to hard disk.

what I get a kick from is when I ordered mine they sent messages a few times to make sure I was happy. then it came and the disc were broken so I called them and the person spoke better English then most places here in the US when you call ??? (bought mine from AliExpress)
