It's coming - Mid-engine Corvette (Merged)

I guess if the super expensive supercars are all going that way then the Corvette will have to also to compete with them.
It seems like we accept most things after a while. But's sure hard in the beginning.
I'll never have to worry about one of those myself though that's for sure.
If it does happen, I look forward to the C5 General comments on the pricing. They're already suggesting the C7 is wildly overpriced (it's not), so I can't wait to see what they would say about a $150k+ Corvette

Today's C5 members are second and third owner of a 15/18 thousand dollar car. They're the ones who seak permission to use regular fuel, and Dino oil, buying 15000 mile oil and changing it at 15000 miles even if that takes three years.
Any one who says a new C7 selling g for 60/70 k is over priced is clueless about automotive technology and the sports car market.
You can by a 4800 lbs boat anchor called a hell cat for 60k. And you've got a fast boat anchor that handles poorly and looks like any other 40,000 dollar MOPAR.
A C7 is a 120,000 dollar sports car by comparison to its closest competion. From Porche, Audi, or Acura
And you can buy it New For Half the price
Overpriced indeed.. ... those people are the same people you see posted in those you tube Walmart photos of some of Walmart's most unbelievable customers.
