The passenger air bag unit encompasses the rectangular face with the "Corvette" lettering, so if you're wanting to know what it looks like without that there will just be a very large hole there. Most people with C5 race cars that still want some cosmetics just place a sheet of plastic in behind it colored to match the dash or leave it out. You should be able to find pics on the forum like this one below with the air bag removed;
If you're removing the air bag for motorsports purpose you'll need to replace the passenger side belt also (which is usually done anyway). There were two types of passenger belts used in C5s. Earlier belts up until I believe 2001 utilized a single function in conjunction with the SRS since you couldn't deactivate the air bag on earlier C5s. Eventually with the introduction of the cut off switch a dual function belt was installed. The car should not be driven with the stock belts without an air bag.
