3M clear Bra really is your friend. My 04 has 64k on her and the clear bra has been on for about 5 years now. You can't tell it's on the car. Really protects that front end
no immediate performance mods... if that's what you're referring to. Definitely a trunk partition, & may add XM/Sirius to the factory system. Just want to get used to it first... and there are a few things that need immediate attention. A few days after I bought it, I noticed a small puddle under the rear end... looks like I've got "leaky butt". It appears to be the driver's side only. Haven't checked if it's coming out of the vent yet (doubt it). But... will do a closer inspection once I get my Kwik-Lift assembled & ready to go (just picked it up yesterday). Am thinking I'll do the ACA headlights at some point, unless I decide to go with fixed headlights... not sure if I'll go full LED all around or not.
I may do a shifter in the near future, but so far, the stock performance is fine for me... and I came from a Cobra which had an extra 210 hp over the Z06, and weighed about 700 lbs less.
Wish I'd gone for the stealth cannon headlights, now. My ACA's are nice and bright, but my adjusters were completely seized and a huge pain to get the lights aimed.
I'd put a dyno tune on it ASAP.
If it's been lowered and is too low, you could loosen the adjuster bolts a half turn and see what you think.

Have thought about the stealth light cannons... maybe wrapped in carbon fiber instead of painted body color... and a carbon fiber spoiler at the rear... and 19/20 Ruff Racing 954s in machined/silver. Mine's been a garage queen, so shouldn't have any trouble with adjusters. Am going to enjoy it as-is for a while... and then decide if I want to "embellish" it, or just leave it alone... tho a new shifter is at the top of the list. It's lowered on stock bolts... easily reversible if need be.
just picked it up today... well, actually, the seller drove it up to me today (super-nice guy)... '04 Z06... one owner... 8600 miles... immaculate condition... documented service history... new tires... new battery... column lock bypass & skip-shift eliminator already done. He had the factory wheels chromed... windows tinted... shorty antenna... that's about it for mods. Lowered on stock bolts. Other than the fact that the front scrapes on EVERYTHING, I'm digging it so far! Luckily has the rollers up front (not very pretty, but functional) & the rub rails to protect the rockers.
