Oil pressure switch
Well I tackled my oil pressure switch replacement yesterday. I old school and scared to death to try to remove the intake. So the challenge was to get it out without removing the intake. What a PITA. After many words I got it out. But when removing from the area it fell out of the socket. So I'm trying to hook it some way and all of a sudden, "clunk" it falls and I don't know where it went. If I don't find it I guess I will just leave it there. Do you think it will hurt anything?? So how do I get the new one in without it falling out of the socket. I get some double sided scotch tape and wrap around the sensor. It worked great. Finally got it installed and hope it not cross threaded. Now I don't have any idea how I am going to connect the wire connector. Don't want to but thinking about cutting a hole in cowl or maybe some one can give me some detailed instructions on removing the intake. One guy wrote he can do it in 15 min. I'd like to see that.
