I LOVE them and that's that !

I have done the search, read MANY threads and I'm not coming up with a conclusive, final, definitive answer.
According to charts I have seen, things I have read, the stock C5 Wheel offset is +58 mm in the front, +65 mm in the rear.

Stock C6 wheels are +56 mm in the front, +79 mm in the rear.

So if my calculations are correct, the front wheels are basically a straight swap. Ok, they are off by 2 mm, no big deal.
The rear wheels have a difference of 14 mm. ( 79-65 =14 )

Yet I'm seeing and reading about adapter width's anywhere from 20 mm ( 3/4") to 25 mm ( 1") being used in the rear.

Am I missing something here ?

What width adapter will I need to bring the rear tires out flush with the rear fender ?
1/8 in 3mm on my 2002 Z06 OEM C6 Z06 Wheels and tires must remove rear air ducts

bolt on deal, but you need to trim the unthreaded nose of factory studs.
So if you go with 20mm adapters, will you need to grind off 5mm of threaded stud too?

ETA: just to confirm, you don't need the adapters/spacers to have the wheels fit; it's just for the appearance of the wheel in the wheel well?

Correct. The wheels will bolt up fine and will ride normally, but will have that sunken in appearance.

The spacer pushes out the sidewall closer to the fender lip.

The squat is actually shot on the Tail of the Dragon out in TN/NC.

The track shot is at Toronto Motorsports Park, in Cayuga, Ontario Canada, just an hour west of Buffalo NY. Really fun course that's flat and technical, allows you to focus on your line rather than wrestling with camber changes.

Nice. Spent many days at WG. Unfortunately TMP was just too far away for a weekend event.

285/35ZR19 for the rear and 245/40ZR18 for the front.

THANK AGAIN ONE AND ALL FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP.
Let us know what you think of the DWS 06's on the vette. I just bought these tires for my Malibu and it's a night and day difference. I actually enjoy driving the Malibu again. I guess that's to be expected after driving on 8yr old tires that were hard and dry rotted. I'm surprised at how well they handle on it. I would imagine they would be even better on the vette.

I'm late to the game, sorry. I used washers to get the the off set I wanted for my stance. Then had a set of hub adapters made. (No didn't just leave the washers on there) the ones I had made are a 1/2 inch.
