Default Help needed, please.

Looking for any information on the upgrade from 97-00 to 01-04 c5 tpms conversion. Having new tires installed and i have the kit to replace everything. So after 19 years i am not going any further with the wheel sensors, also have a broken fob. So any information on the replacement will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Frank

I did the conversion on my 2000. Very simple really. I got the kit from Gene at Cultrag. assuming that you have installed the new style TPMS, and have the key fobs ready. If you look on the drivers side of the hatch, up over the drivers side storage compartment, you will see a cover that is attached with adhesive. Use a wide flat pry (I used a wood chisel) and pry the cover loose. Once the first part breaks loose, the rest will pop off very easy. The old receiver and antenna are there. Remove it and follow the instructions for wiring on the new connector. Mount the new receiver and antenna back into the old location. Program the fobs and sensors. Then use 3M double sided automotive tape (or whatever) to re-attach the cover. That is all there is to it. Sorry I didn't take pictures. It took me around 60 minutes to complete.
