Did you have the large pressure sensors before and were able to switch to then newer style (smaller). I'm not sure when they switched 2000 or 2001? Mine are getting old and it's only mater of time before I'll have to replace them, if I could I would switch over to the new style. Thanks for the info and part #'s.

The 'new' ones are from 2001+
My old ones were the originals.

Nice job!

I bet it was a sweet sound to hear the horn beep, when you trained the new sensors and key fobs.

does the connector come with leads and is it a 4-way? I'm coming up with a 12102635.

I just verified on the packaging that you are correct about the part number. It is 12102635

It is the 4-way connector with wires and 4 crimps .

After I installed the receiver the first thing I programmed was the remotes and when the first one was recognized I was so excited - then the horn honk from the TPMS.

I got mine right from the dealer and there are 4 wires on it. I cut the unused wire off.
Also I found my remotes on that internet site new in the bag GM FOBs 24.00 shipped for both.

nope, they wont program either

item 6 is what wont happen?

1) Turn ignition on
2) Press "Reset" button in order to clear any IPC display warning messages
3) Press and release the "Options" button on the DIC to scroll through the display options until the IPC display is blank
4) Press and hold the DIC "Reset" button for 3 seconds
5) Press the "Options" button again until TIRE TRAINING message appears

6) Press "Reset" button until the IPC "Learn L Front Tire" message appears in order to begin the programming

7) Install the J41760 Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) System Programming Tool (large magnet will do) over the left front valve stem
8) The horn will sound, indicating the left front TPM sensor is programmed (if this takes more than 15 seconds, pull magnet back and try again, it will give you three tries. Then you must start over)
9) When the horn sounds, proceed to program the next TPM sensor in the following order as directed by the IPC messages: -Learn R Front Tire -Learn R Rear Tire -Learn L Rear Tire Programming can be canceled by turning ignition off, waiting 2 minutes with no sensors being learned, finishing all 4 wheels or through the DIC. If the programming is canceled with less than 4 sensors learned, it will only accept the codes programmed up to that point.

It sounds like you are not getting power to the receiver. Power comes from the HVAC circuit and the fuse is located in the fusebox behind a removable panel in the passenger side footwell. If fuse 27 is good, pull your codes and use a voltmeter to see if you are getting power at the connector to the receiver. If you are getting power, I'd say you have a bad receiver.

so its possible that the DIC seems to function correctly until item 6 is tried, even if a fuse is bad?
