Yes, if you can't program your TPM's and your fob's the problem is with the receiver. Check the fuse.

I used this thread alot. There are some links to threads in it complete with pictures. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...rade-hmmm.html
This next one gives the wiring diagram with pics. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...e-sensors.html
Use the red numbers illustrated in the thread in regard to the new wiring harness. From left to right, as illustrated, 1 -black/white stripe; 2 - unused; 3 - pink; 4 - Orange. I almost wired my using the embossed numbers inside the receiver until I found this thread. Good luck.

per markc5 Im gonna try this

It sounds like you are not getting power to the receiver. Power comes from the HVAC circuit and the fuse is located in the fusebox behind a removable panel in the passenger side footwell. If fuse 27 is good, pull your codes and use a voltmeter to see if you are getting power at the connector to the receiver. If you are getting power, I'd say you have a bad receiver.

That all assumes that you have wired the receiver correctly as you have stated.

Glad to read you got your sensors working properly, curious to know how big a magnet was needed to train the sensors or did you use something else? Thanks.

Great upgrade. My '99 A4 Z51 Coupe still had the original sensors working at 106K. I am afraid to even talk about them fearing they might hear me commenting about their continued "life". I have one of those magnetic parts dishes that I use to reset the TPMS sensors as needed. Just get it close to the valve stem when the DIC prompt appears and walk around the car as the horn beeps.

Why I need somebody to order? Because gmpartshouse or gmpartsdirect cannot accept international VISA or Paypal (shipped to 94080)

EDIT:
Have to say big sorry to GM partshouse, they accept int'l VISA, order placed, best price I have found around... Thank you!

Default retrain TPS sensors

I have a 97 and trying to retrain the TPS sensors, can get all the way to train L front, put large magnet on end of valve stem and nothing happens, tried it 4 or 5 times, checked the fuses on passenger side as per the threads, I bought the car 3 yrs ago and the original rims were replaced, I'm not sure the new rims have the TPS sensors, but not sure, is there anyway to tell if the stems have sensors, also the armed light on the drivers side door is not working, any ideas on how to check system and light

If your fobs work either you don't have sensors or the battery in them has died. Are your valve stems threaded all the way down with a nut on them? If so it sounds like dead sensors. If not, you don't have any.

Mark, there not threaded all the way down, they look like regular valve stems the rims were changed out and where the stem comes out is really tight fit, thanks for the info
