I Have a 1998 corvette and the battery went dead and now with a fresh battery the car wont start ..This happened before to the car about 7 years ago and I had to refresh the computer and it was fine ...during the last 7 years I had a real bad stroke and don't remember what I did ..Can someone please Help Me...THX Bob
Yes it is a brand new battery and every thing is tight
Brand new batteries are not always 100% charged. C5s are touchy when it comes to low voltage. The first thing I would do is make sure the battery is fully charged and then work from there. Will the battery crank the engine over? If not, is there any lights or sounds?
It is a new battery and is fully charged and the engine wont crank the last time this happened I had to reflash the computer but since I have a real bad stroke ..I cant remember how to reflash the computer.

You should not have to reflash the PCM, but if you do, what tool are you using to do this?
You can download a stock bin file for the PCM from GM or other sources. Here is one site that you can download from.
