First off how dirty do your cars get. If mine is not in the rain i can go years without running water on the car. I dust it than use a detail spray. What is the difference. This is a zanio car!!

Does anybody know how many times the towels can be washed?

I just Placed my order from Ecklers;

$69.99 Kit

Free shipping and no tax.

In some cases the manufacturer will not allow discounts on certain products.
I’ve seen that policy on other items that I have purchased.

Again, thanks for the help!

Some of us ( Me ) don't have a garage so washing is a weekly event, if not more so for Cruise Nights, Shows, etc, etc.

To all you Chadwicks users, do you still wax or Zaino your cars too?

Once a year I clay bar and wax mine when I take it out of storage, then use Chadwicks for the rest of the year. I think I might be switching to the Meguires waterless for this season.

Pounder I have seen pics of your car it is flawless. Do you ever let it get dirty enough to where you need to break out the hose or is the chadwicks safe as long as there is not caked on mud.

Having to drive on a dirt road it can be very dusty with sand particles. It has to be very bad before I use the hose (quarter car wash rinse). My old DD (O3 GMC I used Chadwicks even with a good coat of salt and my Monte SS as well, no scratches !!! I have now been in Oklahoma for almost a month and have used only Chadwicks !!! It might be a permanent home and no more dirt road !!

Yeah, black IS bad with swirls and scratches, but I think using the "water-less" cleaner is going to make it even worse.

As an aside, I have a black motorcycle, and use the Turtle Wax Black Box system, it has a paint cleaner / polish and black wax. If you follow the instructions, it works pretty well taking swirls out.

No kidding about this Chicago water.
I had my sprinkler watering the grass one day and some of the water got on the Corvette. I didn’t wipe it off and a few days later I had a big surprise.

The minerals were so bad the water crusted onto the paint; it needed to be buffed off.

A couple of times I washed the car in the rain, no minerals like there is in the tap water.

So the rain rinsed off the car and I pulled into the garage to dry it. I’m sure I must have looked like an idiot washing my car in the rain.

I'm going to test the Chadwicks on a small part of the car before I clean the entire thing.

I won’t need to deal with water spots if there is no water.

Yeah StevieB, for those of us in the Chicago area!

I use this filter:
Amazon Amazon
, To take out the minerals, lime, and calcium in the tap water. I ALWAYS wash in the shade or on a cloudy day, NEVER in the sun- A hot car always dries water spots even NOT in the sun.

A BIG shout for my Chicago area Corvette Brothers!

I also like the Griot's Speed Shine which works very well. But IMO the best I've used and still use is Wizard Mist 'n Shine. If you can't find it locally you can get it on Amazon, where I buy it. Has a real nice aroma, too.

Hello my friend,
We are the REAL CORVETTE guys around here.

I’ve just added my signature at the opening of the topic so it can be seen in my garage.

Yours looks great, like the paint is shiny and new. It sounds like this product works well and I will see for myself as soon as we have a few days in a row without rain, as you are aware. My results will be posted after I use it.

I should have been more clear in my statement. I'm sure that there are people that use their car much more than i do. And need to wash their cars to keep them looking good. Its the rest that feel if it gets dust on it it needs to be washed. To say dry wash is a bit misleading Since you are spraying something on the car. What is the difference, What you call dry wash and detail spray?

With that said, excessively dirty and soiled cars do not make good candidates for this process. This line came right out of the article that was posted above. in other words you better wash you car with soap and water if it is DIRTY. Than what is the difference, again, From dusting and a detail spray. Instead of paying that money for another product. Especially what i see what it is costing. JR-01 i know you like to hold on to your money. It is no different than the Zanio detail spray i am using.
