I've been working nights for years. Always parked my Camaro and now vette as close as I can next to the entrance. Which is also parked next to handicap spots, so I have plenty of room to swing the door open. Dark cars look so good in artificial lighting at night.

Perfect color/wheel combination for the night shift! Looks great in those lights and now you will have more money to mod it. I have just changed my shift also.... to the 24/7 retirement shift. Guy at work told me before I left that now I will have time to clay bar the paint right off my Vette.

Nice ride and a large salary bump is a good incentive to work nights.

Far fewer bosses and interruptions, too. When I worked the night shift ('74-'80), we were usually done with 95% of our scheduled work by about 5 AM. Left "just a little bit" for 7-8 AM, when the day shift started trickling in, so we "looked busy"...........

For me, it was either the night shift "straight", or rotating shifts. IMHO, rotating shifts are FAR worse.

Had a job while I was in college doing two eight hour shifts, 3-11, 11-7 on weekends. It came to 32 hours a week in two days, and because it paid time and half after eight hours the check was pretty close to what a 40 hour straight time job would be. I hated it at first, but it gave me five days a week to go to school and the hours kept me out of the bars so I could actually pass the courses for a change. Funny how I didn't realize it until the job ended that it was the best damn job I ever had, and it lead to a degree so it changed my life. Sacrifices are usually worth it if the goal is clear. My son does the rotating shift thing, it's not good for him if you ask me, but it's his life.

Z's don't have rear hatch glass. The OP is just running Z-style rims.

Car looks great. Night shift isn't so bad, especially when it comes with a raise.

definitely a little quieter on nights with less day shifters telling us what to do...it's kinda nice doing our own thing

we rotated for years then the bosses finally realized that there were legit health concerns with that so we're now permanent...I chose to go nights to let another dude work days...we just did a swap
