I accepted my '02's "tramlining" for over a year because people just said it was because of the wide tires...........NOT!!
When I lowered it and got new tires, I also sported for an alignment and that changed everything! MUCH more manageable. It's starting to do it again after many miles so time for another alignment.....but it's still not as bad as it was.

My C5 is one of the best tracking cars on any road that I have ever driven. I can take my hands off the wheel at any speed and it stays straight. It is stock with matching summer tires that are wearing evenly. The alignment is spot on.
Tires, alignment or worn parts are the cause of the problems.
