You just have to be a "vette A-hole" like me - park far away from everything and take 2 spots - sometimes that isn't even enough. I don't know what I would do if I came out and found serious damage like that

I would park normal and not take two spots no matter how far away you park. That would only attract dirtbags that are looking for trouble.
I always scope out a lot and pick the safest place to park. Away from others, away from four wheelers and SUVs and try to get next to a curb and park close to it to give extra room on the other side.

I always park in "Waycross" no matter what I'm driving and somebody still parks next to me!

Thanks for all the replies. Just got off the phone with body shop, they are waiting for adjuster to ok additional needed parts. The front nose and passenger fender and head light assy, has to be replaced. They say the hood can be repaired. I ask if the repair would be noticeable was told no. They went ahead and ordered the parts assuming they will get the ok. I'm worried about the paint match, they claim that their painter is the best at blending in the paint. I may get it back end of next week, if parts come in Friday. Got my fingers crossed.

This is the reason we need a good nuclear war. Time to clear out some of the mouth breathers.
