Engine woes. Suggestions??
Purchased an 03 model with an obvious lifter noise. Super cheap. Once we replaced the lifters however, we discovered a bottom end knock. At first you can't even hear it. Then once the car gets warmed up it becomes fairly obvious. The car makes mad power with tune, Cam and long tubes. Oil pressure is good the engine is a low mileage crate motor. Heads have been off and bores were super clean etc. our mechanic pulled the heads and replaced the rockers saying that he thought we had a bad rocker that had lost the needle bearings like they are prone to do. He thought this may have happened during the lifter repair. Unfortunately this did not fix our problem. Trying to decide what the next step should be. Any suggestions?
