Default Modified LED Tails w/Halo

Greetings - Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I installed new LED tails, modified with the halos. My wife was following me the other day and noticed the halo in one of the tails fails to light. She also thought two of the lights were a bit less bright than the other two. I'm going to check connections but again, any thoughts on what my problem may be?

Thanks!

If you installed NEW units, I'd suggest sending them back and asking for replacements. I had one arrive DOA and the vendor sent a replacement that same day. I'm not sure you want to try to disassemble these things, and risk damaging them if you have other recourse.

Make sure that you have them wired the right way. LED's only work with the right polarity.

They use the stock plug in connectors so it's impossible to reverse the polarity.

Do this. The lights should be warranted for a period of time.

I agree with the others. If you just bought them new, the vendor will likely replace the defective taillight. I would contact the vendor.

Another thought, put the OEM lights back in. Mine work perfect after 15 years!

As the others have suggested, since these are NEW, contacting the vendor to make good on their product is the best way. Might I inquire, as to what vendor you used for this?

You had modified halos 15 years ago?I have had original halos for a long time with no problems also...

I bought 2 sets at that time and have the second set still in the box unused

I had the same problem on the right inner light. I reversed the wire and it all seems to be working now.
