Default Rear too low.

Hi all. Trying to get ride height set and with rear ride height bolts as short as possible it's still too low. Is it possible the bolts have been changed? They look standard.

Does the Z suffer from leaf spring saging at all?

When you say you have the bolts as short as possible, how do you mean? Short on the top above the nut or short on the bottom?

Short. Done up as tight as they go. Max threads showing above lower arm.

You might have an after market set of bolts installed. How long are the bolts?

So after some messing about I`ve got the rake I need in the car, mostly by dropping the front a little more. However the rear bolts are only 1-2 threads off the `top` of the bolt. So still nearly as short as they go.

I thought the aftermarket bolts are longer not shorter to allow more lowering.

I`m fine with the settings as they are, however I`m a bit concerned that the rear leaf has dropped its springrate. Is this possible?

If I am understanding you, you are adjusting the rear bolts the wrong way. To raise the rear ride height, there needs to be more threads above the the top nut not less. On the front to raise ride height you untighten the bolts or back them out. On the rear you tighten the bolts putting more threads above the top nut to raise it.

Lol, yeah I get that. You are tightening (or shortening the) bolt head to nut distance to raise the rear i.e max threads showing above rear trailing arm.....

i measured my bolts and from the head of the bolt (where the head meets the bolt)to the bottom of the nut is 5" on my car.
the tires are 295/35/18

i believe a factory bolt is 6 1/4" long and aftermarket are around 7"
