With A4's you have to install the driver seat on the passenger side and vice versa for the reclining mechanism to clear the seat belt spool on the bottom.

Correct. I have seen someone mentioned they drilled a hole in the reclining handle and attached a pull type rig on it to make it easier to grab/locate.
There are a number of threads on A4's and their install. I modified the brackets to move the seats slightly closer inward and they are mounted on the correct side with recline levers on the outside by each door. With PhotoBucket holding your pics for ransom some threads no longer have the original accompany pictures however. I am in the process of replacing them with some seats from Braum along with changing over to C6 seat belts to avoid any clearance issues with a bottom mounted recoil like the C5 belts have. If you do a search on A4 Corbeau seats you will find a lot of info.
i got he Corbeau a4's and im trying to install them but looking at the frames to bolt to the floor they look the same. They both have the seat belt bolt on the same side. Did they send me two of the same?
