Default LED backup and cleaning

Today I replaced my stock back up lights with LED, I can't believe how much dirt I flushed out of this area.

Garden hose flushed it out thoroughly, dried and applied electronic grease to the contacts. I am OCD with cleaning this thing.

As always, the jobs is not hard, the cleaning is time consuming

Looks clean and probably 5mph faster without the extra weight of the dirt.

might even pick up 2 extra HP because those LEDs you show look like they were built a lot better than mine, which are bright as well. Thanks for sharing!

You got me hooked on LED's AE Guy , I have the rest coming in this week, plate lights, rear view mirror, trunk and courtesy.

I am very interested in updating my headlights next.

LOL, right on! LEDs are super cool and really update the car. Still need to get my headlights and fog lights to HID to tie it all in. But not an easy feat when it comes to the $$$. It is addicting though

I saw a guy on youtube vid that did his headlights with LED, night & day difference. The two bulbs are about $90.00. At first I wanted to keep it all stock but then I was thinking, I drive this at night many times from car shows and the front headlights are not that great at all and why not get the most out the driving experience. Plus the LEDs look that much nicer.

Yeah, I believe I saw the same Vid. All I know is that I really like the look of the HID projectors, especially the ones Radio Flyer just put out that open about half way of the factory pop-up. Just need the dollars and am waiting to see how the first batch actually worked out. I may put in LEDs just to get away from the dingey white for now and graduate to the. HID.

ah, yeah, I saw that one you mention, that's real nice, I think the bulbs sold separate too. That one is out of my budget, the dual projectors look sweet

It is amazing how much dirt can gather in some of the places on the C5. And it doesn't take long after a cleaning for the dirt to come back.

lots of funky stuff, when I did the Z06 rear shocks a few months ago, I found a Hazelnut and some rat bait on top of the rear drivers shock mount
