That covers a lot of years, and two different models. While it might tell you how to change a tire or where to find the spark plugs it won't be nearly as comprehensive at the two or three volume set of factory manuals that will be specific to your model year whether it be a C5 or C6.

Yes, that manual covers the Corvette, but if you want a much more useful repair manual, get the factory service manual published by Helms. Much more detailed, accurate and model year specific instead of trying to cover all C5s and C6s.

minimum $150 maybe more/less depending on the year i bought one of the $17 CD based manuals, along with the Haynes ($20) and Helms manual ($200) and was really impressed with the CD based manual. i didnt think it was going to be good as it but it is excellent.

The Haynes manuals can best be used as an emergency backup when you run out of toilet paper. And it doesn't matter what generations of Corvettes are covered.
I bought the Haynes because the factory service manuals can't be found.
I paid $19.00 for it at Orielly auto parts.

Have you tried looking in the C5 Parts For Sale section? Or eBay? Amazon? I work at a local swap meet each February and I have see a number of sellers with a wide variety of C5 FSM's for sale. In fact, that's where I bought the FSM for my '02 coupe. Paid all of $65 for the three book set that was in very good condition.
But over the last decade or so I have found that I used my printed manuals very little. Seems any issue that I had was able to get excellent "How To" online with a Google search. Most answers came right from folks here on CF
