Might work. I gave up on a cup holder in the Z06. I wrap my 20 oz. coffee thermos cup like a newborn baby with towels and stick it in the left side trunk storage hole. Then I have my coffee after I get to work. Was the C5 on the list for the top 10 worst? If you have a stick, the factory cup holder is 110% useless.
But like MADD says: Don't drink and drive. You might hit a bump and spill your beer.
