Default Heads/Cam combo advice

Looking at finally doing a heads/cam combo for my Z. Just not sure where to start or what to look for.

Some background on the car:

2003 Z06
Mods: Shorty headers/X-pipe/Corsa Extreme/Air Intake

My Z is just a weekend toy and made 370whp about 4 months ago.

I would like to make 440-450whp NA and 550-600 on spray. I imagine to obtain the goal more easily I will need to switch over to longtubes. I have no issue as long as the car could remain emissions compliant.

Would I be better off just doing some ported LS6 heads? Any cam suggestions or what to start reading up on to help obtain my goal?

you lost me at emissions compliant. Get a procharger and pulley down for 600.

BTR Stage 3 cam... Have the heads ported and you could shave some off the deck.

This should get you right around 430-440 probably. But yes, definitely put longtubes on it.

Only problem with that is he has emissions tests, so he can't use LT's

I've had LT headers on mine for 15yrs in Texas and never had a problem passing, as long as he has cats it shouldn't be a problem or know a friendly inspection shop. You have some nice shops up there in D/FTW area, just post in the SW section. Good luck, L8R ZFLASH
