Is anyone else's c5 bone stock?
As a 30 year old, I dont have much money to burn, so I left it completely bone stock as I bought it 2 years ago. No upgrades, no nothing..

Mine is not stock - it has minimal performance upgrades (air intake and cat back exhaust) but has a lot of appearance enhancements.
I like it just as it is.
It is fast enough for me.
Modding has never been my thing.
Had to come back and edit.
I forgot, I also changed out the low beams to led.
Bob.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
There are many Bone Stock C5s out in the world today that haven't been molested with modifications.
All Car Forums seem to attract the Modders, and they overpower the Stockers with their opinions and photo shares.
Enjoy your car as is... It came out pretty dang good from Bowling Green AS IS.
So far, its been a perfect car and still to this day, I have not autocross it.

My 98 was ordered for the first owner's wife with soft ride suspension and automatic transmission. She was afraid of it and never drove it, the second owner got a practically new car for $10k less. I like it the way it is, so I will only put on whatever new parts it needs for maintenance. I spent decades working on Vettes in dealerships so I am now enjoying driving one that doesn't need much.

In all seriousness, there is nothing wrong with stock. It's just not for me, I like to show and go.
Have been teased on here about being stock.
I have thought of modding for years, lots of choices, and lots of $$, I would say modding if done right is expensive.
Now 40, got car at 25.
Might still mod it, but(If I had big mod money) would rather put a new crate LS3 and a new Magnum T56 in my
1965 Chevy shortbed truck I've had since 17 years old.
The big block and TH400 I swapped in burns oil, has stinky exhaust and is pretty much a joke on freeway, running at 65 mph, the engine is spinning crazy high RPM.
Engine probably needs a rebuild and is awful mpg, takes over 3 times the fill ups of the C5, while moving cross country, let brother drive Corvette, he only had me top off C5 on old truck's 3rd fill up I was driving.
