I would have never bought them myself but since they came with the car I left them on. Some have complimented me on the looks, I'm still on the fence. It also has the matching license plate frame!
Was the license frame standard? If not where are they available?

Mine had those when I purchased it......removed and tossed them INSTANTLY
If I had those on I'd have taken them off in a heartbeat. With my set being body color they aren't as obvious and a narrower profile helps. I don't think they sell them at pepboys though.
Whatever works for you, it's your car. Me? I don't shop at Pep Boys...

They have the Corvette emblem on them, so I don't believe they came from pep boys.
May have been a dealer option.
I asked the po when I first looked at the car the afternoon I bought it, about the chrome treatment on the back of the car.
She stated it was a $950.00 option, so I just assumed it was a dealer option when she bought the car new.
I hate the CHROME ‘set’, looks horrendous period, but what do I know.
Having said that, the red set on red tail lights, on your red ride looks really OK to me, cause they ‘blend in’ with the light assembly. They would also look OK in black on any color car.

Anyone have a trick to remove those screw caps. I got two off pretty easily, but the others either are stuck because of paint, or they just spin around.

They just snap in, get a fine screwdriver and they just pop off.
