I tried a few of the eBay and Amazon LED lights, including the LED Auxito lights that were recommended to me. The color matched my white DRL's but they just didn't cut it on brightness at all. Then I tried RadioFlyer's LED fog lights and I couldn't be happier. $60 well spent and installation was a snap. Just turned up my pop-ups manually and reached in there and got both sides done in around 10 minutes. And yeah, had a few scratches on my forearms, but was worth the trade off to me. The adjustment screw in the front makes alignment a snap.
These are the LED bulbs I run. They have been great and are as bright as most cars' normal low beams. I have driven using my fogs as low beams & kept the lights down on several occasions just to test.
Yep... they're $12. But if you can justify blowing $60 on a pair of nearly identical fog light bulbs, then whatever floats your boat....
Stephen did your $12 ebay specials fit straight in because the chart says they sre not compatible for a 2000 C5? Thanks.
mine took slight modification - same as if you bought HIRs to replace lows/highs

i saw those, too. some vendors sell them without the connector - i avoided them. most have the correct plugs.

these're probably slightly dimmer than RadioFlyer's, but still a significant improvement & useful.
and FYI, if anybody has Z06 screens, those block the adjustment screw & make alignment more complicated
