Default installing a B/U camera

I recently purchased an 03 drop top. One of the improvements I am making is to install a back up camera. The camera mounts to the bracket that holds the license plate. I'd rather not drill holes in the back of my car. Has anyone already done this and how did you route the wire to the front of the car?
Thanks

Fish it through the central tunnel and bring it up the firewall so you can run it into the cabin using the grommet behind the battery.

There should be air vents behind the trunk carpet on the driver's side, used to release cabin pressure. Remove the rear tail lights to be able to fish the wires - then just run it to the tunnel area, remove the center console and run it under the console right up below the radio. This is how I ran mine in my 2004 Z06 - not sure if the vert has a similar vent but if not I would drill a hole where it is located to run the wires.

Not sure if there is another way without drilling any holes anywhere or running outside a long ways like GCG suggested.

Have you considered a wireless solution? No need to run a wire from the rear to the front. A wireless transmitter/receiver has worked well for me.

I ran mine through the rubber vents behind the tail lights.

Just installed a license plate camera last week in a 2004 vert! My cable came with a rubber grommet already on the cable. Drilled a 3/8” hole high up next to the trunk latch. Also the pocket behind the trunk latch bracket is a good place to hide the extra camera wire! Even if you can’t get a grommet on it you can seal the hole with silicone. This fiberglass drills through like butter.

I bought an angle mounted camera and drilled a hole next to the license plate lights. I figured if the camera ever had to be removed the hole wouldn’t be seen unless changing a bulb. It’s very discreet in this location, you have to really look for the camera.
