Well the dear that I hit did come up over the hood and hit the windshield, but it was a glancing blow and I was not going very fast. The windshield is very strong and it was almost like I drove under the dear? Mine is a Vert so that maybe has a different windshield? The windshield has quit a slope to it so that probably helped. I'm just trying to avoid the "forest rats" all that I can though!!

Just got off the phone with the body shop. $7100 for total repair. They’ll work with me on the deductible too so about $300 out of pocket.

Not too terrible...could be worse I guess.

Hope you get it back in great condition for that amount. Nice of them to help with deductible.
