So what's it take to get a ticket? Thinking about going next year.
Getting a ticket is pretty easy, just watch the BJ website for when they become available for 2020.
The hard one is getting a hotel room as they get reserved right after BJ announces the show dates.

They do several throughout the year. Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Palm Beach, Connecticut. There are a couple of different things to do and see at the Auction other than just the cars crossing the block. Totally worth going if you get an opportunity
went to bj sat. first time, what a great time.its so big you just cant see everything in one day.enjoyed riding in the drift cars sponsored by dodge. can also ride in mustang gt350and corvettes on track.all rides are very short but still a good time. dont plan to stay in scottsdale as the hotels arehigh priced in my opinion.say a few miles away, good freeways and good parking and the a bus takes you to the event all free.sat. ticket $65.00
I have been to a couple of these (Scottsdale and West Palm) and highly recommend the experience. But lodging is the biggest problem. Be sure you have a place to stay or at least are in reasonable commuting distance. I'm thinking maybe Las Vegas is big enough to absorb all those people without a major dislocation of room prices. We used to go to the big car weekend in Monterey, California in August but not anymore as the lodging situation just got very expensive for that weekend. But if you live close enough to make it a daytrip....
That silver Corvette station wagon reminds me there were originally several body styles considered, including a wagon and a fastback that never made it into production. The rear lines of the wagon Corvette exercise showed up a few years later on the Chevy Nomad wagon. The tail lights on the one pictured here are correct but WAY bigger than the originals.
Thinking what someone spend on a car is ridiculous isn’t whining, it’s stating an opinion, it’s a big difference.
Trying to call someone out because they have a different opinion and saying they’re whining even after they explain their point which is about the relative market in general and the impact of these super high auction sale figures? Grow up.
I was so enjoying this post.....and then there's this.....really guys?
OP....glad you had a great time....love the 67 Chevelle....had one in high school....283, 500hp, powerglide....200 lbs in the trunk and it would lift the front wheels!
$80K for that Factory Five GTM (if the build quality is acceptable) is a great deal.
Dont forget fees. 10% buyers premium+your state sales tax+shipping. An AZ resident would need about $95k to drive it home.
Not sure about B-J, but Mecum has a 3 tier buyers premium: on site, phone, and internet, in ascending order.
I went 2 years ago with a pocket full of cash to purchase a c5zo6. wound up with a C4 CE LT4. found a room in Mesa with no problem. got hit by 2 snow storms on the way home. that was NOT planed for.
