Lots of vettes in Central Florida lots of them wave but many don’t........ hate to say it but C1/C2 followed by C7 are the highest percentage of non wavers per generation. I wonder if the people in the super pricey C8 will even look my way?

I get the wave most of the time, but sometimes the other Vette is here and gone so fast that a person doesn't have time to react, like on hilly or curvy roads. I remember one time in particular, my wife and I were going towards Wisconsin on I think I 290 somewhere outside of Chicago . It was raining cats and dogs and I was driving kinda slow as I was unfamiliar with the area and had already missed one toll booth. We got passed by another C5, and as it went by the passenger ( I'm pretty sure it was a woman), rolled down her window and gave us the wave. I couldn't wave back so flashed the lights. Above and beyond the call there
Wave is good in Canada but sometimes people with newer vettes miss. Maybe they do not know about it. I am hard to miss being a bright orange C3? I always wave.
Southeast Michiganders wave like a flag. Sometimes I cant react in time. I hope that they dont feel slighted. Its not my intent. Sometimes I wave but dont get a response, but thats ok. I just figure that their other hand is on the lady sitting next to them. LOL.
So easy on a bike, and there is a stronger connection among fellow riders. So, when out on my motorcycles I wave.
I've owned a number of interesting vehicles,
Yes to all of the above. Although I'm on a riding hiatus for now I will say there are so many riders in my area that it's almost impossible to keep up with the bike wave. You'll wear your arm out.
Get a lot of waves in the Suzuki Samurai community as well as Toyota FJ40s.
Got the wave all the time living in PA, still get it here in TX. I will say that C6 owners for some reason seem to be the worst about returning the favor. C7s are hit or miss. C1-C5 almost always.
I don't see the "wave" much here in E Texas. It has gotten rare to see a C5 (mine is a '99 black vert) on the road and C7 drivers don't seem to care to return the greeting. In years gone by when I was driving my '71 Ontario Orange big block up in the North East the Corvette crew seemed to be much tighter and the "wave" was nearly always exchanged between Corvette drivers regardless of the year/model. The best group I ever saw and been a part of are the Porsche drivers when I spending a lot of time with my 911 and the Porsche Club of America (PCA). Porsche drivers were very tight and always recognized and helped each other whether you were driving an entry level 914 or driving a top of the line turbo. I'd.like to see the Corvette clubs get more inclusive and friendlier towards each other. Best wishes to all!
In north Jersey most people wave in all different gen Vettes. Rare to miss a wave, I'm also guilty of missing a wave opp sometimes.
me too, tho’ my friend Striper and I have never crossed paths, usually parked near each other. It’s alive and well in “slightly less than North” Jersey. Heck, I got a wave from a bicycle rider today.
