Default Making a Pneumatic lift by wheels ,opinions ?

25 years ago pneumatic end lift jacks became obsolete and dirt cheap, but in the late 90s I saw them for sale again being modified for lifting by the tires and sold in pairs. Has anyone used these ?I think I can modify my gray bumper lift to a wheel lift without much expense and perhaps fabricate a lower base to lift from frame .any input? . Attatched pick is simalar to what I have seen only these are on steroids and listed for 11 grand

This is the style the ones I saw were adjustable to hug tires of different size

I like where you are going with this idea. Done smartly the system could be very versatile. My concern would be how to sync both raise and lower function. A remote hydraulic pump with the right valving might work. Don't know the details but there are snyc'd systems out there. You got my engineering thoughts going.
Good luck with your project and keep us informed.
