Active Handling & Square Setup
On my 99, I run C5 Z rear wheels on all four corners with 285s as my off season setup. This has served me well and the option to freely rotate is welcome. The car has only traction control, never had active handling as an option, so I never worried about this.
If I had a newer year C5 with active handling, would this pose an issue? Or would I simply need to disable AH when driving? I also have a tech 2 clone, though I would not opt to disable or Uninstaller AH permanently.
Experiences? Thoughts?

You'll here different opinions on that one. I read post where guys say it doesn't affect active handling and some say it does. I was thinking of running the same set up you have. Can you send pics? My only issue is race cars don't run square set ups. I do and will continue, to do, track days. I see your point about being able to rotate tires which will extend the tire mileage significantly.

Drifting
I do not have same tire sizes, but almost same diameter 305/25/20 & 295/25/20 diameters are 25.9 & 25.8 most times I run with traction all the way off, I have never run in comp mode, have had a few times where I forgot to turn off TC/AH & did not have any issues.

I have a 2004 Z. I run 315 square on the street around town, through the mountains, to and from the track, and at the track on cold or wet days with AH on. Never had an issue.

I run 295/35R18’s on 18x10.5 rims on all four corners on a 2003 Z. I track the car and run it on the street in a ‘spirited’ manner at times. No issues whatsoever with TC or AH. The car feels much more planted and handles like it’s on rails.
