I have seen ads on TV for Weather Tech mounts that use the cupholder. It might be worth a look.

I use the same one, but I put it in one of the 2 (Travel Buddy) cup holders that mount on the passenger side.

Can you please post a pic of how you have it installed in your car?

You can turn phone sideways to watch something while you're waiting, or use it for gps, etc. works good

Is there a way to remove the bottom "cradle" arm or whatever you call it? From the looks of it, it will block some ports on the bottom of my phone, which I would need when in the car. On that same note, do you think the side arms are strong enough to hold a larger phone, without that bottom cradle thingy?

My iPhone holder hooks into the CD slot. It doesn't move, is adjustable and is removable. Got it from Amazon......take a look.

Buy a Pop-socket and a pop-socket clip for your car. Done deal.

It's cheap.
It doesn't look like a cheap yet overpriced automobile accessory from 2001.
