I couldn't find anything on this. So I apologize if this has been addressed before.
I have a 2003 50th Anniversary Edition what are the colors of the interior? Shale I
know is one of the colors. Is that the seats/bottom section? What is the darker tan/brownish
color called? I'm looking for some spray dye to freshen up the darker section. Also if I
decide to do a stereo swap I would order the bezel and paint it to match the car. Any good
leads on said dye would be awesome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure but if I’m correct you’re talking about the plastic trim panel (Bezel) surrounding the radio and HVAC controls. If this is the part in question than there is no dye I’m aware off that will change the color. Most aftermarket bezels are black and will require you to use a automotive style paint ( semi gloss) with some type of plastic adhesive promoter. Since paint as you are probably aware of has a poor history of sticking to any plastic part, it will depend on the correct steps and products used to have satisfactory results. I recommend you go to a auto body paint supplier in your area and they will provide you with the correct products to paint plastic. Any body shop will tell you where to go to get those products. And remember you are painting it, it will scratch easily, and show the black surface underneath. paint will not fuse to plastic, it simply lays on top and will not stand up to wear very well. If left untouched all’s well 🤗, if subjected to any abuse, 😡. Best option look for one “molded” in your color. This just so you understand all your options and there limitations.
Once you establish the color google search SEM color coat. They make products specifically for plastic. I did my bezel with their products and it held up fine. The also make a cleaner and adhesion promoter
Ok found all the codes in my glove box. The only clue if you will was the code 151= Interior trim Shale(50th Anniversary).
and 154= Trim Combinations Leather, Shale (50th Anniversary). So I'm still at the same question regardless of paint sticking
or not. What is the second(upper) color? Could it possibly be called Oak? The color is darker than the dash picture indicates.
More like the upper door panel.
I spoke to one dealer ship and they said the color was a medium dark neutral. Look at colorbond.com or paint scratch.com and they should be able to get you a plastic paint that matches your colors. I’ve purchased Oak and oak is too dark of a color. I am currently trying to find the paint to repaint/re-die my visor lid. Good Luck

AES Corvette Parts is a vendor here and sells original parts, I'm pretty sure they had a shale console recently. I've purchased from them and they have good prices. That's a beautiful 50th Anniv. Vette, by the way!
I painted a new black Vettenuts DD bezel with Medium Dark Neutral, followed by several Matte clear coats (after I initially prepped it with an adhesion promoter). I also painted the black cupholders on the side with Shale in the same method. Both turned out fine IMO.

Thank you so much. That is exactly what I needed....
I just bought Color Bond for the Medium Dark (#WA9648) and would NOT recommend it. The match or should I say "mis-match" was noticable. I am going to refinish by trying either Express Paint or Paint Scratch.com.
